Investment capital is a lot more than just cultural capital!

It did not take long for the universal economic question to pop up.  How do we make a buck or a euro out of things we do?  In the creative industry sector, the possibility of making a euro is undoubtedly growing especially in the mobile app and gaming world.  However, it is more problematic, in terms of the traditional CD music market.  To make a euro, and then accelerate and make more and more euros, is related to the raw creative entrepreneurial activity, from people and businesses collaboration.  However, its also about financial capital and investment.  Both aspects of ‘capital – human and financial.

A question from the floor at the event raised this and asked whether investment capital ‘spoke the language’ or whether it moves fast enough.  This goes to the heart of developing a new and bigger economy around creative industries.
